Haughton Plantations (Pvt) Ltd
Amidst the beautiful misty hills of Kalawana and Ratnapura bordering the Sinharaja Rain Forest, lies our largest plantation, ‘Haughton Plantations (Pvt) Ltd’ with over 250 acres of land extent and nearly 250 in house employees and 250 indirect workforces attending daily activities of both field and factory work. The unmatchable quality of our productions both tea and cinnamon is the result of the unique geographic location with lush green vegetation of Sinharaja, rich soil, perfect climate and the remarkable attention given by our expert staff.
Sannasgama Tea Factory
Facing the Colombo – Batticaloa Highway just beyond Pelmadulla town is our ‘Sannasgama Tea Factory’. Mainly depending on its bought leaf suppliers at the base of the Pelmadulla valley, Sanasgama Tea Factory boasts of its unique taste of tea. This has been a result of the locations of our green tea suppliers which we carefully select. The cold nights and high temperature in the day time with two extremes temperature gives a special sweet mellow character in the cup.

Mihidum Valley Plantations
‘Mihidum Valley Plantations’ which sits at the beautiful valley of Banangala, Porawagama provides the unique taste of dark tea which is also the result of its location. The quality of the soil at the Mihidum Valley helps largely in making its production one of the best in the Southern Region.
A state – of – the –art Factory designed and built by Ruhunu Development Contractors & Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. It is beautifully located facing paddy fields and surrounded by tea small holdings the breeze that sweep across the paddy fields, contributes immensely to vital manufacturing process. This factory is a village integrated project. Together with the factory construction the adjacent village was developed with houses for houseless peasants focusing towards needy families, temple renovations and constructing a bridge which was in need for the villages. The factory enjoys a premium price for it teas.
Haycock Valley Tea Factory
Totally depending on its green tea suppliers our first tea production center, ‘Haycock Valley Tea Factory’ located by Kanneliya rain forest region facing Panangala – Hiniduma main road making it convenient for our suppliers to reach us. Thus the quality and the quantity of the tea we produce are comparatively higher than the other factories in the area.

Malpudanella Plantations
‘Malpudanella Plantations’ is our new member of the Plantation sector which is located in Banagala. The plantation owns not only tea but also cinnamon and coconut. Tea factory expects to use both our own crop and green leaf supplied by the small holders of the area when it commences its manufacture.
Being away from the busy urban atmosphere ‘Welikanda Farm’ with a land extent of 50 acres is located in Singhapura, Welikanda off Polonnaruwa. The fruit and vegetable produce of our farm and wellbeing of our live stock is mainly reliant on the weather conditions of the region with the timely rain fall from September to December annually and our own reserve of water in the farm itself.
